Border Collie Rescue California is dedicated to helping all Border Collies, purebred and mix, in whatever situation, in any location. We are dedicated to the breed - simple as that.
So, we list available dogs from all over the country, and are beginning a program where the smaller, and independent rescues can also have a web presence via this site, hence BCRescue.net. We are a network of Border Collie rescues.
The majority of dogs from BCR-CA are in one of two places so to find information on them, simply e-mail info@bcrescue.net. Some of the available dogs have separate e-mail addresses listed. These are dogs that are being fostered, or are in owner homes that must for some reason give the dog up. The best and most complete information can be obtained directly from the owner family, or the foster family. So if there is a specific e-mail address listed for a dog you are interested in, use that for more info. Be aware that these dogs have not necessarily been evaluated by BCR-CA, so claims to temperament, ability, health, etc are not something we can necessarily attest to.
Some of the photos are either pending or are not the best quality. As you know, we are a non-profit organization often dependent on kindnesses from the likes of yourself, so please bear with us. We have some fabulous dogs to fit any number of situations. Before considering anything else, consider rescue and secure your place in heaven and in our hearts.
